To make your photo canvas bigger we can use adobe Photoshop CS 5. It's very important in the next step if you want more editing your image or your photo.
Step
1. Open your file. Learn at here
2. Find Image button at upper left corner and choose Canvas Size or Alt+Ctrl+C
3. At new window "Canvas Size" you can set Width and Height canvas and Anchor. And you can set what color you want.
